The Chief Librarian of the Yaroslav the Wise International Library and Information Center participated online in the 5th International Conference "Open Science and Innovation in Ukraine 2026," held on October 21–22, 2026.
The event addressed key issues regarding the development of national research infrastructure, the reform of research assessment approaches, the expansion of open access to research outputs, the management of open research data, and the assurance of research reproducibility. Particular attention was paid to the role of citizen science in shaping and developing Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem.
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity for cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary exchange of experience, the establishment of new partnerships, and the development of a shared vision for integrating Ukrainian science into the European Research Area.
